MSCAP Spring 2026 Scholarship​

AACAP Spring Assembly & Legislative Conference | May 3–5, 2026 | Washington, DC

MSCAP is offering financial support to attend two national AACAP events held back-to-back in Washington, DC. Up to $1,000 in total support of attendance, including matching AACAP’s $300 Fellow Travel Grant when applicable.

1. AACAP Spring Assembly (May 3–4)

The Assembly of Regional Organizations is AACAP’s governance meeting, where policy positions and national priorities are discussed and voted on.

MSCAP designates official delegates who may vote and receive complimentary registration (if registered by the deadline).
Non-delegates, including residents and fellows, may attend as non-voting participants and pay the standard registration fee.

2. AACAP Legislative Conference (May 4–5). Click to learn more and register.

AACAP’s premier federal advocacy event. Attendees meet with members of Congress and hear from policy experts on issues affecting children’s mental health.

AACAP offers up to 25 Fellow Travel Grants of $300, which must be matched by the regional organization, for a total award of $600.

MSCAP Scholarship Support

MSCAP scholarships may be used toward:
  • Travel and lodging
  • Registration fees (if applicable)
  • Matching the $300 AACAP Fellow Travel Grant

Residents, fellows, and early career child and adolescent psychiatrists are especially encouraged to apply. This is an opportunity to engage in national leadership, advocacy, and organized psychiatry while representing Minnesota.

Looking Ahead: Fall 2026 Scholarship Cycle

AACAP’s Annual Meeting will take place October 26–31, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. MSCAP will offer a separate Fall 2026 scholarship cycle to support members interested in attending the Annual Meeting.
